Refund Policy

1. We are a marketplace

FindHealthcareTrainer connects healthcare providers and learners with independent trainers. We do not process payments for training sessions themselves — trainers invoice clients directly. Any dispute about a session, its quality, or its cancellation is between you and the trainer. We are happy to help mediate but cannot issue refunds for services we did not charge for.

2. Free trial

New trainer accounts receive a 14-day free trial of the Basic plan with no payment card required. You can cancel at any time during the trial with no charge. If you do not subscribe at the end of the trial your account moves to a read-only state and your public profile is removed.

3. Monthly subscriptions

Subscription fees (Basic £59/mo, Pro £149/mo, Premium £399/mo) are billed monthly in advance and are non-refundable except in the cases listed below. You can cancel at any time and your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Pro-rata goodwill refund: If you cancel within 30 days of starting a new paid plan and you have made no bookings during that period, contact hello@findhealthcaretrainer.com and we will refund the unused portion at our discretion. We aim to keep customers happy.

Plan changes: Downgrades apply at the next billing cycle. Upgrades take effect immediately and Stripe pro-rates the difference automatically.

4. Featured placement add-on

The £49/month Featured Placement add-on has a 90-day minimum commitment. You cannot cancel during that window. After 90 days you may cancel at any time and the placement will remain active until the end of the current month.

5. Disputes

If you believe you have been charged in error or have any concern, contact us before initiating a chargeback. We respond to all support emails within 2 working days and prefer to resolve issues directly. Chargebacks raised without first contacting us may result in account suspension.

6. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law. If you are a consumer purchasing a digital service, the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations applies — except where you have started using the service during that period, in which case you may have waived that right.
